Rajesh Jha

Senior Public Finance Specialist, Global Health Directorate, The World Bank

Rajesh Jha is a Senior Public Finance Specialist in the World Bank's Global Health Directorate, where he leads work on public financial management in health and private contracting of health services. With nearly three decades of experience in health financing and PFM, he supports governments across Africa and Asia on strengthening the links between public finance, health financing, and service delivery outcomes. Rajesh has led the development and application of the World Bank's FinHealth methodology and has authored several knowledge products on health sector PFM, resource tracking, intergovernmental fiscal transfers, and primary health care financing. He holds an MSc in Public Health (Health Economics) from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
