Mr. Solomon Ikopit

Manager, Finance, Petroleum Authority of Uganda

Solomon Ikopit is currently the Manager of Finance at the Petroleum Authority of Uganda. He has over 20 years experience with proficiencies in auditing, cost and management accounting, financial management & reporting, strategic planning, corporate governance, leadership, and administration. Mr. Ikopit has also been involved in corporate governance at the Board level, including audit committee leadership.

Mr. Ikopit is a Fellow of the UK Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda, and a member of the Institute of Corporate Governance of Uganda. He holds a Bachelor of commerce degree, accounting option, from Makerere University, Kampala, and an MBA from Edinburgh Business School. 

He is married with three children and volunteers at his local church, overseeing their finances. Mr. Ikopit loves to socialize, is a fan of cinema and television, keeps trying to perfect his swimming, and is polishing up his golf as part of his leisure activities.
