Charbet M. Duckett CPA, CGFM

Executive Director, Williams Adley & Company, LLP

Currently, Charbet Duckett is the executive director for Williams Adley & Company, LLP in charge of quality control. During her many years with Williams Adley, she has provided financial, performance, and compliance audits, agreed-upon procedures engagements, financial statement preparation, federal financial management training, and audit assistance. Ms. Duckett has over 25 years of experience managing audits of financial statements of Federal Government agencies, pursuant to GMRA and the CFO Act.  Charbet’s major clients have included US Agency for International Development, Millennium Challenge Corporation, Department of Labor, Bureau of International Labor Affairs, Department of Treasury, Defense Finance and Accounting Service, and District of Columbia Courts.  For these clients Charbet has traveled extensively to several nations around the world including Kenya, Nigeria, Morocco, Afghanistan, Jordan, Bolivia, Cambodia, and Indonesia to name a few.  Charbet is also responsible for staff development and training and our community service arm, WACares.

Charbet graduated magna cum laude from James Madison University with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Government Financial Manager, and participates as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Association of Government Accountants, and the International Consortium of Government Financial Management’s.

Prior to joining Williams Adley, Charbet served as senior accountant with Ernst & Young. She is actively involved in civic pursuits that support the empowerment of women and youth, and that assist those looking to excel through membership in Asbury Broadneck United Methodist Church, and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority.
