J. Christopher Mihm

Chris Mihm is an Adjunct Professor of Public Administration and International Affairs at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University where he teaches graduate courses on Public Administration and Democracy and Performance Management.
He is the former Managing Director for Strategic Issues at the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) where led GAO’s work on governance, strategy, and performance issues.  He also is the former Chairs of the UN Independent Audit Advisory Committee and the WHO Independent Expert Oversight Advisory Committee.
 

Chris was a lead author of “Preparing governments for future shocks: A roadmap to resilience”, a report on the Future Socks initiative, a joint project of the IBM Center for the Business of Government, the National Academy of Public Administration, and the IBM Institute for Business Values. 

He is the Deputy Chair of the Governance, Audit and Compliance Committee of the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA).
Chris is a fellow and former Board Chair of the National Academy of Public Administration.
