Fredrick Riaga was appointed the Chief Executive Officer and Secretary to the Public Sector Accounting Standards Board (Kenya) effective August 1, 2019. Mr. Riaga holds an MBA in Finance, a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Accounting and is also a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPAK). Prior to joining the Board, Mr. Riaga worked at the Institute of Certified Public Accountants (ICPAK) in the capacity of Head of Public Policy and Governance. He has also worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers and NIC Bank Limited. He has vast experience in public policy, public financial management and regional integration.
