Mariana Moneva serves as a Municipal Debt Management Advisor on the USAID North Macedonia SRMA, implemented by DT Global. She has advised on draft legislative changes for municipal debt and greater municipal financial stability. She is highly experienced in public and corporate finance, due diligence, assessment of local governments’ creditworthiness and debt management, public service delivery, and LGs capital investment planning. Ms. Moneva has over 10 years of consulting services with international institutions such as USAID, GIZ (former GTZ), EBRD, KfW. Mariana has an MBA in Public Services (International stream) from the University of Birmingham, UK and currently doing her PhD in Economics focused on managing systemic risks in the EU financial system and the role of the Central Banks in ensuring financial stability. She was awarded the prestigious Chevening Scholarship from the British Government to pursue her MBA study in the UK.
