Kalkidan is a seasoned professional currently overseeing World Bank Projects for the Ministry of Labor and Skills in Ethiopia. She is keen on the public sector and has been passionately serving these past years.
Kalkidan has her roots in Audit and Assurance and rose to become an Audit Manager in a top-tier audit firm in Ethiopia. She then moved to finance roles where she worked as Finance Director for Massida Logistics head quartered in Djibouti and then as Finance Director for the Novartis Pharmaceutical Group which enabled her to cover regions and sectors beyond Ethiopia.
Kalkidan is passionate about the Accountancy Profession, and speaks in many forums on key issues of the profession as an ACCA Ambassador in Ethiopia. Kalkidan has served for four years as the chairperson of the ACCA Ethiopia Members’ Network Panel and a Board Member of the Accounting Society of Ethiopia.
