Elena Mondo is Senior Technical Advisor at the International Budget Partnership, supporting the policy and global advocacy team in cross-programmatic and strategic work, leading its capacity development efforts and technology-related conversations. Prior to shifting to her current role, Elena spent many years as head of the Open Budget Survey – IBP’s flagship research and advocacy project that open and accountable budget-making processes and institutions across the globe. Prior to joining the IBP, she worked as a consultant for the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development, coordinating research on budget practices and procedures in the OECD and Latin American countries. She holds an MPA in public and economic policy from the London School of Economics.
