Tammy Wyche (Why-ch) was appointed the director of The Institute of Internal Auditor’s Environmental, Health and Safety Audit Center in November 2015. She led development of the EHS Audit Center. This specialty is now expanded to cover the emerging issues around Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG). In June of 2020, Tammy was additionally, named director of the Public Sector Audit Center and the Public Sector Guidance Committee.

Tammy brings more than 35 years of extensive private and public sector knowledge and international experience that includes work in hazardous waste management, environmental, health and safety auditing, employee EHS training programs, regulatory compliance and sustainability/ESG implementation. Wyche’s experience includes more than 20 years at Konica Minolta Photo Imaging, where she developed their North American environmental, health, safety and resource recovery programs. In that role, she dealt with regulatory issues across North and Central America, the Caribbean, Europe and Japan. Wyche also has strong credentials in professional development and marketing, including substantial work in government relations and community engagement.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental and public health from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and has extensive education in environmental and safety law.
