Javaid Jehangir

Mr. Javaid Jahangir is the 20th Auditor General of Pakistan and the Head of the Supreme Audit Institution of Pakistan and the Secretary-General of Economic Cooperation Organization Supreme Audit Institutions (ECOSAI). A sub-regional forum of eleven Supreme Audit Institutions of South and Central Asian Countries, which are members of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO). Mr. Jahangir also sits on the Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) Accounting Standards Board. Auditor General of Pakistan is a constitutional appointment and head of the Department of Auditor General of Pakistan (DAGP) with thirty Field Audit offices across the country and a workforce of 5400 employees.
